Her lower back aches, and you'd like to actually do something about it.
Kasia's partner videos are two or three minutes long and written for you: a V-massage for the lower back, a rebozo technique for back pain and 3-dimensional breathing you guide with your hands. Watch once, try it straight away, and get better every time.

Nobody hands you a job description for the birth. This does. In week 22 you read what a birth companion does during labor, then you practice it: the labor circuit of active positions, and light touch massage in weeks 28, 40 and 42. On the day, you know where to stand and what to do with your hands.

The partner practices are short on purpose. The rebozo shimmy in week 22 is three minutes, the gentle rebozo shift in week 24 is four. Sit down together after dinner, watch it on her phone and try it on the living room floor. You don't need your own account – you're doing it together anyway.

The first weeks at home go more smoothly when you've talked them through. In week 33 you plan sleeping arrangements together, and in week 35 you read what the partner's role looks like after the birth.
After the birth, there's a rebozo practice for her tight shoulders in postpartum week 4 (yes, that one's yours).

A baby changes a relationship, even a good one. The 16-minute coaching class "Staying connected" by Nina Voelker comes with exercises for both of you. In postpartum week 9 the plan checks in on how you're doing as a couple, and in week 13 it gets honest about sex when you're both tired.

Is there a pregnancy app for dads?
Yes, and for any partner. Mamamoon isn't a separate dad app: it's one app the two of you use together, with partner practices, your role in labor and a plan for the weeks after birth. If you want baby-size updates, a tracker does that. This one gives you something to do with your hands.
Can I share Mamamoon with my partner?
Yes, that's how it's meant to be used. Partners don't need their own login: you watch the classes together on her phone or in a browser, and practice side by side.
How can I best support my partner during pregnancy?
Start with the practical things: learn what she's preparing, come to appointments when you can and take on more at home as the weeks go on. Then learn a few hands-on skills, like a lower back massage or a rebozo technique, and know your role for the birth day. And ask her what helps, because it changes from week to week.
What does a birth partner do during labor?
You keep her company, help her change positions, offer massage and light touch, keep the room calm and speak up for her birth preferences. The week 22 article on the birth companion's role and the labor circuit video walk you through it.
How much does Mamamoon cost?
You can try the program free for 14 days, and no credit card is required. After that, it's €7.99 a month and you can stop anytime. In the Netherlands you can also pay €45 once for the six-month course, which comes with an invoice for possible reimbursement from your health insurer. The Premium program is €149.99 once: 1-on-1 sessions with our experts, 100 unicorns to spend in Rewards and a call with a Mamamoon expert to personalize your plan.
