Looking for a hypnobirthing app that actually teaches you the method, not just how big your baby is this week? Mamamoon gives you HypnoBirthing classes from a certified educator, plus a little practice every week until your birth.

Kasia, who founded Mamamoon, is a certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator, and she recorded the classes herself.
Start with how your body works in labor (18 minutes), then the 31-minute breathing class: calm, surge and birth breathing, each one explained and then practiced with her. You get the classes with unicorns, the points you earn for finishing your weekly tasks.

HypnoBirthing is a skill you practice, not a weekend you sit through. So the app spaces it out for you.
Progressive relaxation turns up in week 19, positive birth affirmations in weeks 21 and 23, and self-hypnosis practice in week 25 and then every few weeks until week 42. By your due date it feels familiar – not something you're reading for the first time in labor.

Two minutes a day. Ten by week 38. The Breathing App is built into Mamamoon, so your breathing practice sits right next to this week's tasks – pick a rhythm like 4:6, set the timer and follow the ball.
It starts short in early pregnancy and grows with you, so the breathing you'll use in labor has had months of practice behind it.

Some worries about birth are easier to say out loud than to read about. In week 25 you get a fear release exercise to do on your own.
When you'd rather talk it through, book a 30-minute live online session with Kasia using your unicorns. Got a question about the method itself? Veronika, a HypnoBirthing educator and birth doula, takes 1-on-1 calls, too.

Your birth partner wants to help – they just need to know how. Kasia's light touch massage class (4.5 minutes) and the labor circuit of active labor positions (4 minutes) are short enough to watch together on the couch, then try straight away.
Your partner doesn't need an account (a friend or a doula can do this with you, too). Just you, them and your phone.

Your practice doesn't have to stop when your baby arrives. Tap "Baby is here", add the birth date, and the app moves into 16 weeks of postpartum support: rest, recovery, feeding and your own well-being. Self-hypnosis comes back in postpartum week 7 – this time for you, not for labor.

What is the best free hypnobirthing app?
The best one is the app you'll actually practice with every week. Mamamoon gives you 14 days free with no credit card required, so you can try the HypnoBirthing classes, The Breathing App and your weekly tasks before you pay anything. After that it's €7.99 a month.
What week should I start hypnobirthing?
The earlier you start, the more time the practice has to become a habit. Mamamoon's program starts in week 3, and the HypnoBirthing sequence builds through the second trimester, with self-hypnosis practice from week 25. Starting at 34 weeks is not too late: you can go back to earlier weeks and still practice every day until your birth.
Can I teach myself hypnobirthing?
Many parents learn the method at home, and structure is what makes it work. In the app, Kasia's classes explain the method and the weekly tasks tell you what to practice and when. If you want feedback from a person, you can book a 1-on-1 video call with a HypnoBirthing educator.
Is there a free online hypnobirthing course?
You can take Mamamoon's HypnoBirthing classes during the 14-day free trial, together with the weekly plan and The Breathing App. You get the classes with unicorns, the points you earn by completing your weekly tasks.
Is hypnobirthing evidence-based, or is it woo?
It's practical, not mystical. HypnoBirthing is a structured way to prepare for birth, built on breathing, deep relaxation and self-hypnosis, and it's taught by midwives, doulas and certified educators around the world. You learn techniques and practice them until they feel natural on the day.
How much does Mamamoon cost?
You can try the program free for 14 days, and no credit card is required. After that, it's €7.99 a month and you can stop anytime. In the Netherlands you can also pay €45 once for the six-month course, which comes with an invoice for possible reimbursement from your health insurer. The Premium program is €149.99 once: 1-on-1 sessions with our experts, 100 unicorns to spend in Rewards and a call with a Mamamoon expert to personalize your plan.
