Pregnancy trackers tend to go quiet the day your baby arrives, and that's exactly when a postpartum recovery app matters most. Mamamoon keeps going with 16 weeks of support for your body, your mind and your days, plus experts you can actually talk to.

Week one is about rest. Week six is your postnatal check. Week eleven is a pelvic floor exercise called the Knack. Tap "Baby is here", add the birth date, and every week brings five or six small tasks for where you are right now – read, watch, listen or practice, in the minutes you actually have.

Your body did something huge, so the plan starts slowly. Pelvic floor check-in videos come in weeks 7 and 9.
You learn how to check for separated stomach muscles, with a myths and facts article by Lara Luzzatto, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer who specializes in pre and postnatal fitness. Gentle movement follows the NHS advice on exercise after birth, when you're ready and not before.

Nobody has time to cook with a newborn. So the recipes are the kind you make in a big pot and eat for days: bone broth (with a PDF recipe), soups and kitchari.
There's even a week 38 reminder to freeze your broth before the birth. Want to go deeper? Emilia's 45-minute class is a full guide to bone broth.

Some weeks are harder than others, and that's normal. The plan asks how you're really feeling, suggests small mood-lifting rituals and gives you guided mindfulness recordings by Katia Khomich, a certified mindfulness teacher, for anxious moments and sticky thoughts.
And when it's more than a hard week, it tells you to talk to your doctor or midwife.

Got a question at 11am that can't wait for your next appointment? Book a 30-minute video call with Danielle Bensky, a postpartum doula, or with Nancy Nortan, who has more than 30 years in kraamzorg (Dutch postpartum home care). A newborn sleep consultant is there, too.

The easiest postpartum weeks are the ones you plan while you're still pregnant. From week 33 the app gets you ready: talk through sleeping arrangements with your partner, set up a meal train in week 35, and get the house ready in week 39. By the time your baby arrives, the help is already lined up.

What is the 5-5-5 rule for postpartum recovery?
It's a traditional way to plan rest after birth: five days in bed, five days on the bed and five days around the bed. It isn't medical advice, just a simple way to give yourself permission to slow down. Mamamoon's first weeks work the same way: week 1 is about rest, and the plan only adds more once you're ready.
Will my body go back to normal after pregnancy?
Your body changed a lot to grow and birth a baby, and recovery takes time, often months rather than weeks. The goal isn't to look like you did before, but to feel strong and comfortable in your body again. The plan helps with pelvic floor check-ins, a diastasis self-check and gentle movement, and your postnatal check is the place to ask how you're healing.
Is it normal to cry every day postpartum?
Many new mothers feel weepy in the first days after birth, often called the baby blues, and it usually passes within about two weeks. If the sadness lasts longer, feels heavy or worries you, talk to your doctor or midwife. In the app, weekly check-ins and mindfulness recordings help you notice how you're doing, and you can book a call with Danielle, a postpartum doula.
What happens at 8 weeks postpartum?
By week 8 you've usually had your postnatal check, and many mothers start to find a rhythm. In Mamamoon, week 8 brings guidance on checking your stomach muscles for separation, tips on storing breastmilk and an idea for postnatal or mom-and-baby yoga.
I already gave birth. Can I still join?
Yes. Some mothers sign up only for the postpartum weeks. Tap "Baby is here", add the birth date, and the plan starts from the week you're in.
